A part of the Arms & Armour series, this is the best general reference I've encountered for armor modeling and history buffs on WW II German AFV's. This is an illustrated and complete directory of German tanks, armored cars, self-propelled guns, and semi-tracked vehicles used from 1933 to 1945. The book is written by Peter Chamberlain and Hilary Doyle with Thomas Jentz as Technical Editor. Outstanding reference for the novice as well as the seasoned model history buff, lavishly complimented with period and wartime photos. Appendices in this reference include tank armament, ammunition, radio equipment, optical equipment, engines, supplementary armor, German AFV Production numbers, Sonderkraftfahrzeug (Sd.Kfz.) numbers, and Fremdengerat numbers with an index of vehicle names. A must-have desktop reference book for German AFV modelers.
