Warpigs Pigments are a new line of dry pigments from Alclad. This is Dust, item ALCWP013. Currently there are 18 Warpigs Pigments.

Warpigs Pigments Dust
Warpigs Pigments are packed in a plastic 2/3-ounce (20ml) hard plastic bottle with a pop-off top. The pigment is finely ground.

I used a stiff brush to apply Dust to a dump truck. The body is hard shiny smooth plastic and the tires are a soft plastic-rubber composite.

Applied dry ALCWP013 Dust knocked the shine right off and filled in low and recessed places nicely. It was easy to rub away.

I dipped the brush in water and then in an acrylic thinner and made a mud. It stuck a little better.

The pigments make great looking dust and dirt debris in the bed of the truck.

I suspected Warpigs Pigments will adhere even better upon painted surfaces. It did not. I tried it on my Artitec Sherman, applied with a soft brush, and it just brushed away.

My main concern is that the ultra-fine powder wafts easily around the model while brushing it on. Use a mask and goggles to protect your lungs and eyes.

I think that Warpigs Pigments is an easy to use and fine looking pigment. But it does not adhere well. While it does knocked the shine right off all the surfaces, it needs to be mixed with sometime to make it stick to the model.

Please remember to tell vendors and retailers that you saw this product here - on RailRoad Modeling.
Highs: It knocked the shine right off all the surfaces and makes the model look well dusted.
Lows: It does not stay on a surface - painted or unpainted.
Verdict: An easy to use and fine looking pigment.
