The Hasegawa Mechatro suit kits are pretty neat looking. Mostly snap fit assembly and fully poseable when completed. It is amazing how my 7 year old could see this from across the room and run over to look at it. They should make for a fun build.

I think the Mechatro kits may have a good appeal to kid modelers. First, most 1/35 model kits have some kind of weapon attached and many parents may dislike that; the Mechatro is non-violent. Secondly, the parts are molded in color. Third, the kid modeler could paint the Mechatro like an Easter egg; there's not many model kits out there that allows one to do this since the Mechatro is supposed to be the 1/35 child figure's personal transport robot and has broad surfaces like a car. This allows for countless custom paint schemes. It's something different than the usual 1/35 guns, gear, armor, and combat models out there. The Mechatro is generic and non-violent...perfect for kids.
