Monroe Perdu finally has limited quantities of it's latest and largest kit, MPD-031 Northern Italian Church. If you were able to attend the recent SCAHMS show, you saw the painted test shot and the first few kits for sale. The kit is imposing, measuring 13" tall and 13" square on the base.
In development since late last year, the finished product is worth the wait. The large base can accomodate several 1/35 figures and vehicles and the architecture allows for a scene from many eras and locales. The kit is cast in resin with laser cut details including door handles and window mullion. A printed "fresco" for the above door recess is also included but as the instructions point out, you can add any image you choose to customize the facade. Clear acetate is provided for the window glass and that also can be customized to appear hand blown or as stained glass. Full color reference photos provide a starting point for painting and weathering but the choices for finishing the kit are unlimited.

Photos of the kit can be seen on the site by clicking on "New Products" and also "Announcements"
