I am building what I like, when I like and how I like it; having fun doing it. I have been building and finishing models on and off my whole life but the past ten years things really exploded. Just about anything goes when it comes to hitting the bench, but wrecked armor, rusted hulks, ships or ...

At least for me, the video continuously freezes about a min or so into it. Not sure why, as I haven't had that issue with any other vids.

Joel, Not sure what that is...I had no issues with the cleaning vid but the review froze for me too. I noticed a google ad pop up when it froze. I clicked on the link in the top left corner, which redirects to Youtube...the video ran smoothly; however, the google ad is hidden at the bottom...all this sounds like Youtube adding ad-space and must cause a slight conflict when the link is shared. Only a guess though!

Tried again this morning, and it worked. Nice review. What concerns me is the total amount of parts for what is basically a single action gun. My external mix single action Paasche gun works great and has way less parts.

very similar to my grex TR. trigger airbrushes are very easy to work with for longer periods.

Paul, glad to hear it worked this time! The parts work the biggest concern myself. I like to take my stuff apart and give a full cleaning sometimes and the .pdf manual from the Iwata site was almost needed at one point..LOL! Iwata did do a great job on the air/paint balancing I thought, felt a lot like my double action AB. Thank Paul, I was curious as to how the Grex worked for some. Ergonomically they hit the mark for being comfortable then.

i've had a couple of trigger airbrushes(i had a cheap one to try first)and they basically all have the same moving parts. if you can strip a "normal" airbrush and clean it you'll have no problems with the trigger version.

and yes the grex sits nicely in the hand and is well balanced. it also comes with 3 different sized paint cups.

Always good to have options! I think it would be few and far between for 'full' style cleaning, of course unless-ya make a mess of things...LOL!! Would be the first time I leaned over to grab another part to paint and poured a cup on my shoe!! LOL!!
