It must be h-e-l-l running a company when you can't trust your own employees .....

Could the Nazi base on the moon be the cause of these sounds? Electromagnetic disturbances caused by some equipment?

Maybe Nazis on the moon could explain this:

A quick count gave me 12 WW2 German, don't want to say nazi, models on the Revell Germany site not counting kriegsmarine or luftwaffe. Must be a salute to German auto and heavy equipment manufacturing during the late 30's to mid 40's.

What a mystery.
Who? Revell staff. Obviously.
How? With reference to various drawings, including reports from 'witnesses'. I recognise this craft from accounts by "Ufologists" in the 1970s.
Why? Because this sort of thing sells.
Space. The Third Reich. But together? Unleash the schnapps! Triples all round!
So farewell, then, Luftwaffe 46, and all the other paper projects beloved of some of us.
Given the argument that these things were attainable in time, even drawn and prototyped, that leaves the various interpretations of the original Nautilus, which HG Wells wrote of in a Science Fiction book set, IIRC, sometime around the Victorian era. Which also takes care of Steampunk.
There. A wibbly over-reaction to an even more wibbly mighty over-reaction!
Now I must either have a beer or go to bed. And I'm out of beer...
Before I go, yes, Revell, in my view, have made a mistake. The part spheres under the hull are to do with the propulsion system, not turrets. Now I'm off; can't be bothered to get up... Where's my Melange... Moving without moving...

Remember, this is Germany where they have very strict anti-Nazi laws.
Also, if you really want a Hanabu, Squadron makes 2 different ones.

yeah but those squadron kits are damn expensive even if they are 1/72 scale.
Pegasus also does one in 1/144 scale that is pretty neat too!

Had it been more available and better priced, I might have been tempted to get one. Unarmed, in the original silver, as per George Adamski et al!
