Due to a ‘political correctness’ quite some countries don’t allow the presence of SS signs, even on scale model prints.
One may discuss the (non)sense of this but in all cases modelers are now rather restricted.
From the past I have quite some SS-soldiers in my stash. Time to start building them. I intend to gather them around an ICM Mercedes L3000 truck in Russia. Now I hope to find a set of decals with the front and backside registration numbers.
Who can tell me were to find these, please?

There are many companies who make aftermarket decal sets; most hobby shops will carry them. You can also search places like ebay simply by putting the scale, nationality (German), other keywords like license plate in your case. Some have pre-made tags, and others have a blank plate and rows of tiny numbers for you to create your own so you can avoid dupes later on.

The Dragon Sdkfz251 kits all contain a "generic" licence plate transfer which allows you to make up your own plates from individual letters and numbers. In the case of Waffen SS plates, the SS runes are supplied cut in half so as not to offend anyone (!). So ask your friends if anyone has one spare! In my case, I often take a Wehrmacht plate, paint out the WH and hand paint the runes on (it's not that hard if you have a steady hand). If you opt for my cheapskate option, remember that until late in the war, the SS was much smaller than the Heer, so stick to 6 digit numbers.
