got this great 75 mm kit of a Vietnam soldier carrying a youg kid, Scale 75 model.


I like it but wanted to change it up a little and put the helmet back on the soldier and make the kid bare headed so here it is so far.

bulk of the project is now done, I have cut off the boots so I could have him walking thru a rice paddy.

water is done with first painting the base with a mud color then five minute epoxy tinted with mud color to glue the figure on the base and create some water depth.

i then used some water effects by Vallejo to add the ripples and waves, and to glue on some grass and fern leaves

Doug this is beautiful work, and thanks for posting the SBS in progress shots. I learned a lot from this sharp lil' vignette. Great scale to work in too.
