Does anyone know if the collabsible fuel drums or fuel bladders survived the crash of Verlinden Productions and might be available someday´s. I speak of course of the 1/35 scale one. I found recently that these drum could be transported with PLS/LHS systems.

They may have, there was a conversation on Facebook during the late summer about the Verlinden line by people in a position to know. I don't want to go into detail on the board since the conversation was in a closed group on Facebook.

Try searching on eBay. There is a lot of Verlinden product still available on that site from small sellers. Good luck!

Do you have any pics of this set-up? I didn't think we still used these. I recently acquired a set and could use them w/my PLS.

Found a pic on DVIDS site. These are drums for potable water, but shouldn`t make a big difference in 1/35 scale.

Here you go...

They released both 1/35 and 1/48 sets.

The 1/35 set is #386. It contains only one fuel drum, the pump, filter, hose, fittings, and dry transfer markings.

The 1/48 set is #454 and includes two drums and the rest of the above items.

Ah, the coveted Verlinden 1/35 Collapsible Field Re-Fueling set.

I have a couple of the 1/35 sets stashed away for an Aussie Vietnam Centurion Mk.5/1 diorama.

Sometimes it's not about the thing you photograph. It's about what's behind the thing you photograph.
