It has been awhile but how many of you would be interested in doing a build a tool type campaign? Rules would be simple, build a modeling tool, post two pictures of the build and two pictures of the completed tool in the KitMaker gallery.
The tool you create would be an aid to any type of model making.
I envision a six-month campaign named The Forge of the Mind. My idea for a ribbon is a black anvil on a fire type background. You may have a great modeling type tool that you have invented that would be a help to our community. This would be a wonderful opportunity to share your idea. I’d appreciate your input.

Sounds cool to me, but maybe add a "display only" class for tools that are super simple.

Would be a fun campaign. I took part in all of the Build-A-Tool campaigns in the past and they were all fun. So this one should be just as enjoyable. Thank you for the campaign suggestion.

Randy, Lee and others, I was reviewing past campaigns that I've participated in and a build a tool type campaign seemed like a great one to do again.

Yes. Some really cool stuff there. It's a real shame that so many of the pics are lost because of Photobucket.

If this new campaign kicks off, I have a really easy to make tool to show. No real effort in making it, but it is handy.

Well, model makers, so far we have seven members who've expressed intrest in being part of the Forge of the Mind (Build a Model Making Tool) Campaign.

We need just three more to sign up and then I can submit our proposal.

Build a modeling tool, post two pictures of the build on the campaign forum and two pictures of the completed tool in the KitMaker gallery.

The tool you create will be an aid to any type of model making. It can aid in masking, painting, clamping, duplicating, cutting, gluing, and anything else that makes model building better.

I envision a six-month campaign named The Forge of the Mind - Build a Model Making Tool.

These are the call signs of those expressing intrest in being part of Forge of the Mind.
