When we were redoing an area at An Son, Camp Lane during the draw down, these ARVNs came over to check out the area. They had a Big German Shepard. There were 2 of them holding him and one of the guys started throwing a ball. It was all they could do to hold on as that dog started chasing that ball. He seemed to like us a lot more than his handlers.

Northstar Models of Russia makes a 54mm (1/32) German Shepherd.

https://northstarmodels.com/product/54mm-fallout-lets-go-pal-painted-figure-resin-base/

It would be a big dog at 1/32 scale (not sure if it will work out with a 1/35 figure). You could ask Northstar Models to see if they could cut the resin pour block and sell you only the dog.

There's Shapeways...

https://www.shapeways.com/marketplace?type=product&q=1%2F35+dog

On a sidenote, look at all the 1/35 animals on the other pages. One can make an "African Safari" scene if one wants to. Cool!

Neither has a flak vest, just harnesses on them.

If you are looking for dobermans, Master box has a WWII USMC set with them too.

Sorry without glasses it looked like a vest/ maybe both kits will work. I dont remember any Dobernams . only Shepards Thanks again.

I don't know of a Vietnam-specific Dog Handler set.

You could use the dog out of the Master Box Iraq Patrol set...

or the dog from the Legend modern K9 set for a seated dog...

And swap the figure for a Vietnam one to get what you are looking for.

Ok thanks , the one with the flack vest wont work lol . Ill look around. Thanks for the suggestion
