Here's my entry for the campaign. It's the AFV Centurion with an OOP Inside the Armour Mk.3 backdate set. I'm going to cheat a little bit as I still have some built friuls from a previous project that ended up in the bin, so there's practically no building left to do on those.

It's going to be built as a vehicle during the Suez Crisis. Something along these lines:

So, in the process of painting the interior of the M10 Achilles - I lost the parts for the ammo rack on the left side of the hull. Tried looking for it but to no avail. It's a pretty big part I don't know how it got lost

In any case, I decided to shelf that project for now (until I know how to replace the part at least. I suck at scratch build). Can I enter this Chieftain instead? Here's my progress with it so far.

Going to be interesting watching the two builds going at the same time Robin.

Haven't decided on my build yet. Trying to do something no-one else is doing for some variety here, so first thoughts A13 and Valentine are taken, and the Conqueror too.

Maybe the AFV Club Churchill AVRE or Mark 3, or even the Meng Tortoise if that fits the parameters... I assume it will John, if the Sexton has been okayed.

Decisions, decisions

May I suggest:

or

assuming they hit the shops in time of course
I think Bronco have corrected/amended most or all of the issues with the first release of the A10.

Start image of Broncos A13, will be built as an "Early", the other one will be Crusading to Gazala as a "Late".
Still waiting for a resin engine deck to make it easier to fix some issues with the engine deck.

Don't know if I should start with all the little bits and pieces for the tracks or go for the large parts first.
The sprue cutters are getting restless ...

I'm in with Bronco's A34 Cruiser Tank. I managed to nab the LionMarc replacement turret while back and individual tracks.

Just a quick update,

Here's where I'm at in the M10 Achilles build. Painted most of the interior white on a whim. Not sure yet whether I'll leave the upper hull unglued to show this detail or to close it all up.

Yes Nigel, all your progress and photos should be posted here.

You must post one photo of the finished kit in the KitMaker Gallery
- Black tab button KM Gallery, select Campaigns, select 2017 Campaigns and the British Brigade. Then post your finished photo.

A bit late but gonna try to join This is where we post our build logs too right?

If I finish, this will be the first kit I display with an interior.

If not... well, I have a tamiya Chieftain in the stash waiting to be built too

Well this one is quite simple..

British tanks anyone ?

- All era.
- Diorama, AM allowed.
- Prototype and cancelled projects allowed.
- 1:16 to 1:72 scales
- Running from Dec. - July 2018 (?)

Any takers ?

Any chance of this fitting in?

Additionally, in our conversations, we have learned that:
a) the T-34 and KV vehicles will be produced for the British army. The former will be equipped with a 17-pounder, the latter with a 6 inch howitzer.
b) the tanks will be built with an improved gearbox and differential clutches.
c) the KV air pumps will be improved. [Note: the KV the British got had a defective air pump]
d) the tanks will be equipped with centrifugal air filters that will draw air from the transmission compartment. This is explained as follows: if you take air from behind the tank, it will contain dust kicked up by the tank. If you draw air from the transmission, the air purity reached is 100% ideal.
e) the welding will be performed with electrodes made from high hardness steel, which will result in welding seams being as robust as the armour plates.

I am going with one that has been on the shelf for awhile. Trumpeters Challenger 2. I know that this kit has it's faults, but going to have a crack at it and improve what I can.

I just love that kit, 480 fiddly little plastic pieces just to make the tracks. Lots and lost of injection gates to clean up ....
