Hi Guys
Saw Dunkirk this morning an absolutely brilliant piece of film making.

The story is told from 3 separate views point A Soldier a Civilian and a fighter pilot.

I'm sorry to say the air to air sequences put the Battle of Britain in the shade.Plus there is nothing like crystal clear shots of Spitfires with the Rolls Royce soundtrack.

I rate this as classic in the making, must remember to update my top ten.

Go see it and thank me later.

I watched this film, yesterday. It was not exactly what I expected, but provided a great representation of the actual withdrawal/retreat. There was a little glorification and the French were left out almost entirely. The bit, with George was a nice addition, as was the sense of duty taken on by civilians.

Yeah, this movie wasn't what I expected - I was looking forward to more of a focus on a squad of soldiers down on the beach, waiting to be taken away. But that's not to say this was a crummy movie - certainly not! I think the aerial sequences are just fantastic!
