It's made from Evergreen Plastic and PVC.

That's way cool-- I spent some time with the real thing, and yours looks pretty close-- that's what I'd call the ultimate "non-scale" model! I just finished doing the same thing in brass in 1/16th scale for my brass B-17F waist gun position--took me about 40 hours-- how long did it take you to do this?

No...only the charging handle pulls and snaps back. I say in 4 years the rubber band will dry up and won't work

I still say if you do another you should make an Airsoft version!!!
or at least use a spring rather than a rubber band!

Looks great and I agree about the three handles. They should have a more oval profile (fat in the middle) then straight up and down.

Also at least in the photos it appears to be almost flat black and not more gun metal in nature.

Yeah I also agree on the handles, but I'm still having a problem finding anything close. I could use a 1''inch round dowel but then it wont fit into the handle frame. I'm using blueprints for all my measurements....I'm still looking though.

Maybe look into thrift store furniture parts. Some old chairs or something like that.
