I have no experience with resin, but I'm eager to find out does it work for me.

Join the club.....

Very Steam Punk Jesper. Quite an unusual but interesting looking subject.

Anthony...nice to see you join in too.

Welcome aboard guys.

Robert must have missed the Holt pics first time around. Some excellent detail work there. I'm looking forward to seeing that one!

Hi Martin

That fits in no problem. As per the rules in the campaign enlist page:

"The Rules and Regs
- The resin kit must be unstarted, that campaign is a year long, plenty of time to build.
- Kit must be a resin kit or conversion.
- For a resin conversion, kit must replace a good portion of the kit parts or add significant more, ie. the addition of minor parts like a mine plow, barrels, wheels, etc would not be acceptable. Thing like the replacement of a turret, addition of full interior, etc would be acceptable"

Welcome aboard.

Looks like your time will be spent on clean up!

Interesting to see this is mainly all in one 'backing sheet' pour, and not gravity fed in individual or grouped pieces so you have detail all around. I haven't seen castings like that other than Verlinden dio building pours.

Martin good luck with your model

Mine is from another czech brand Blackdog with a Hobbyboss kit.

Here my built:

Wrong wheels in the conversion !

To replace them I used Legend Productions wheels designed for the WMIK. I removed the rim and glue the Hobbyboss rim instead of.

Off to a good start Martin. A lot less parts than Alex's planned 4 x 4

Nice challenge there Alex. Looks like BD did the same tyre pattern as the HB box art. Great that the HB wheel centres fit the Legend Tyres without much trouble.

Thank you Pete. This modification would be more difficult with DEF Model WMIK wheels because diameter of the rim is more little.

There are same wheels in their WMIK conversion. There are not new ones for the snatch.

Base color is on. Next it is brush painting all the metal parts and tracks.

Interesting choice of colour. Very different to the usual OD and green or 3 colour camo we get used to.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Indeed a Strange vehicle. The base color is more suited for the red surface of Mars being a Sci-Fi vehicle.
If you think the color is unusual wait til you see the decals

At least it's eye-catching
The build is clean. All theses recesses ask for a lot of washes and heavy weathering.

Little progress

Add a tray between two front seats instead of the antislip plate and add antislip carpet on floor.

Before to glue rear seats you have to make several tests fit with the cab part in place, as there aren't any measures in instructions.

I've changed my mind- instead of Opel Blitz Typ A Conversion, I'll go for the Pavesi P.4-100 artillery tractor by PlusModel.

It will one day tow a Flak 88/18 of Royal Bulgarian Air Defence like in this picture:

Looks like an interesting vehicle to build Angel. Who makes the base kit, is it a local (to you) manufacturer?

Peter,
The kit comes from the Czech producer PlusModel(#449).
Down under you can have it from BNA Model World

Ouch Angel. The price tag on it is a little steep, even for an all Resin kit. That equates to a Thunder Model Scammel Tank Transporter, Takom Luchs and Tamiya Russian Matilda and change after delivery costs - which I just ordered online. The Scammel is my Christmas present from my Mother-in- law. How many other guys are that lucky?

My Resin stash is mainly acquired from swap meets.

I will really enjoy seeing it built though. It looks fascinating.

Can't say I don't see your point,Peter
Been saving from some planned or underway projects for the last 2 months to get this kit...
But-you're lucky,mate!
You have your mother-in-law on your side!
