Hi again Drabslab

We've both firmly nailed our colours to this build, so there's no shirking now! My Fw 58 and your B-52 - something tells me I picked the easier option...

But the B-52 will blow any and all competition away when it's finished! I'm really looking forward to following your build.

All the best

Rowan

You are now predicting a happy outcome of the buildign experience. I am honestly not that sure..; but is is quite an adventure I must admit.

I've signed up along with Drabslab and I'll honour that pledge. I reckon it's the kind of build you'd enjoy too, so please do dig out one of those vacuforms you've got and let's see if we can encourage a few converts.

All the best

Rowan

Yep, copy that.

After all you are not called for nothing "The Queen of trash kits". This campaign is perfect for you.!

Hi Jessie

Ditto that: recent posts show we need your input and influence more than ever.

If Drabslab's going to twang the heartstrings, let me add a strum! Like you, I don't feel inclined to visit so often in future, but there's the Raiders Of The Lost Art campaign ready to start. I've signed up along with Drabslab and I'll honour that pledge. I reckon it's the kind of build you'd enjoy too, so please do dig out one of those vacuforms you've got and let's see if we can encourage a few converts.

All the best

I'm still around, just not as noticeable as I used to be

Although recent occurrences will ensure that my participation here will be much more rare.

On the contrary Jessie, late occurrences should motivate you to stay!

I understand that you are disappointed by some recent crap but look at it from the bright side; quite a few people raised, and are raising their voice defending decent principles.

I know that this is amazing, that people are prepared to face the wrath of populism and the risk of being labelled as a sissy, or a puritan to defend a half stranger.

I am sure that this only happened because you are here, and known as a fellow modeller and human being.

And by speaking up I am sure you also triggered some serious thinking with folks who don't have bad intentions but were never forced to think about certain things.

Besides, and on a more jolly note, you tricked me into joining the pax and pallets campaign, no way i will let you escape now

I know Dana posts more on Facebook, Mary hasn't done much (if any) building lately, and I haven't seen Penny or any others around in some time.

Just noticed this forum.. forgot we even had it. I wonder what happened to the lady modelers? Did they lose interest in the hobby.. or just in posting?

Too bad it didn't work out.
