I like the touch of the switch on the airbrush holder, really makes sense on a compressor of this type where it otherwise runs continuously. Also, this thing is so tiny, but still actually works.

Loved the amount of hardware you got into the video, not only multiple airbrushes, but a decibel meter and, hope I have this right, a flow anemometer??

It's also good to know how to pronounce your surname, I've been reading it wrong all these years.

Nice review.

Since I am away from home for longer periods of time and in countries with hardly any "Modeling-Infrastructure", I decided to purchase a small portable compressor enabling me to keep up with my hobby were ever I am.
So after looking around what would suit my needs, I decided to go with the ARSIM Mini portable compressor and a H&S Hansa 281 airbrush to go with it.
At home I use the H&S Infinity CR Plus 2.0 to do mostly NATO-3-Tone camo so when I am off, I just need to apply paint during the assembly process, road wheels etc. and finish the model with a basic coat of paint . ... back home is were I then get serious to finish the kit.
And I must say I really love this arrangement for my "journeys", the compressor is perfectly compact to store in my luggage, in its transport box it hardly takes up space and is quite light. Working for 30 - 45 min. none stop is absolutely no problem. The pressure is sufficient and steady for my purpose and I have not encountered any slack in performance to date.
The only thing I really regret is not having taken this step much much sooner.
Now I can keep up my hobby with the lastest/newest kits and with the basic supply of paints and thinners etc. I take along, I have the basic model prepared to a level, that when I get home this is were the "fun" (for me) can beginn almost immediately.
So for anyone who is often gone for weeks or months with the desire to occupy your time with better things then watching TV in hotels or such all evening, these small portable compressors are the best thing that can happen to you !

Cheers
Christopher

It has been said that the ARISM Viz integrates two new advanced designs from Sparmax, one of them is the Smart-Stop and the other one is Silver Bullet Plus. The time when you utilize it in conjunction with each other the outcome is a compressed, ergonomic, and instinctive compressor for airbrushing. There is also this facility that you can control the pressure by utilizing the built-in bleed valve on the Silver Bullet Plus and see the working pressure on the compressor gauge. The term VIZ was selected from the similar-sounding ‘Vis’, which has various meanings in Latin, such as Environment, Efficacy, and Power. The instructor told me about that site.
It is also incorporated in the term visual, which we felt was appropriate, since when it came to spraying the artist was carrying their vision to life on canvas for everyone to see. It is famous and used widely all over the world. Its noise level is 45±dB.
