Spanish company Andrea Miniatures has recently announced their new releases for February 2006, clearly expanding their range of movie based subjects.
As there are stories all over the forums of the various releases announced at Nuremeberg, the idea of this story is to summarize (with the help of the lists produced by (I.P.M.S. Deutschland) the new releases in Warships, Aviation and Armor. What I will be doing is creating a list of some of the genuinely NEW items.. Looking at some manufacturers lists, I really wonder if they have any pride left....

I will not be covering DML (armor), or Italeri (warships or Armor) as these have been adequately covered in the News section....

PerfectScale from Germany have just informed us about their recent and future releases.
The Ukrainian manufacturer, Masterbox Ltd, has, in the last few months made a real effort to produce 'different' plastic figure sets in 1/35th. This is more true than ever, with these forthcoming sets in 1/35th sets...

Having just had an advance look at Italeri's 20006 catalogue, there are not too many , COMPLETELY New, 1/35th scale armor releases listed. That said, they are several which are VERY interesting indeed....
This, for the Warship modellers, may come into the category of 'Bombshell'. For the diorama builders it may also come into the same category....
An new company that has thus far focused on figures and busts from the 20th and 21st centuries, The Regimental S-4 will venture into a "new" area with their upcoming release of a Swiss Landsknecht, 1515.....

Thanks to Derek Hanson of Accurate Armour we are able to present the latest 1/35th scale releases. At the end of the story, it's also a good opportunity, to re-print their future release lists....
In the third of these Dragon Models' News stories based on their 2006, catalogue, the attention turns to an increasingly important (and horribly neglected) part of the hobby - 1/72nd scale.

The list in the catalogue, is curiously enough, a lot more interesting than the lists for 1/35th scale.

It should also be noted, these are informative , not definitive. Things will doubtless change during the course of the year.....
Thanks to the continued cooperation between Dragon Models Limited and Armorama we are able to announce the Figure lists from Dragon's 2006 catalogue...

Please Note: If experience has taught us one thing, there will be many more (unnanounced) figure releases throughout the year....
Thru a special 'dispensation' - Dragon Models are allowing us to publish the details of the new products listed in theit 2006 catalogue.

Please note, no release dates have been given and if last year was anything to go by, there will be many more surprises during the year..

The last few months have seen a rapid release program from DML in all areas. One of the most noteworthy, has ubdoubtedly been th introduction of a different 'dimension' of 1/35th scale figures - Generation II. The difference between these and any other figures on the market is abysmal - the new figure sets are undoubtedly the best ever produced in 1/35th. Now, Dragon Models has, via its subsidiary DragonUSA announced the latest set....
