The 2002 IPMS National show will be held in Virginia Beach, Virgina by the Tidewater IPMS and the Hampton Roads Scale Modelers. The event will be held July 31, 2002 through August 3rd at the Pavilion Convention Center. All the details of the event are still being worked out but you can find the latest info on the official Web site, 2002nats.tripod.com.

You and your family could easily spend a month here and still not see all the fantastic attractions that Virginia Beach and the Hampton Roads area has to offer! For those of you planning a trip with your family, Busch Gardens in Williamsburg is practically a must visit, as is the beach itself in Virginia Beach.

For those of you interested in aviation history, you'll be kept hopping from Kill Devil Hills, NC (site of the Wright Brother's first flight) to the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton.

We haven't left out the ship lovers, either! Norfolk now boasts the USS Wisconsin, the last battleship ever completed, as well as a great assortment of nautical shops and tours.
