Further to this news reporters story of the 5th of February 2010 Dragon Models have reconfirmed that they are in the very advanced development stages of releasing their 1/350th German Battleship Scharnhorst 1943.

Check out these newly released parts images of the kitset.

Details as to availability and price are yet to be confirmed.

We will of course update you with more precise detail as it comes to hand.

If Dragon's Buchanan kit is a fair example, the Scharnhorst will definitely rank as one of the best large scale ship kits of all time. I hope the cost won't rival the 1:350 Akagi.... --Karl

WOW!! Thoise photos really make you want this one. I Don't think this one will break the bank. It is Chinese not Japanese and therefore usually cheaper. I would bet no more than $150

$129.95, beware though, some shops are charging considerably more.

Early July was the last time period that was talked about. I bet end of July will be more in line. Either way, I am looking forward to picking up my copy!
