Latest 1/232th Barrel Set from B & D Barrels

B & D Barrels have announced another release to their growing range of brass barrel sets 1/232nd USN 8in/35 Mk 2 & USN 5in/40 Mk 3 . This is a 14 barrel set that has both the 4 x 8in/35 main guns and 10 x 5in/40 secondary guns and is designed primarily for the Revell 1/232nd scale USS Olympia C-3 kit when she was Admiral Dewey’s flagship at the Battle of Manila Bay in 1898.
Kindly be aware that the guns in this set are designed to represent the Olympia as she fought at Manila Bay in 1898 and not the 5in/51s she carries now. The Olympia was rearmed and the original 8in and 5in guns were removed. We also understand that you will need to undertake some minor kit modifications to remove the current barrel assembly from the 5in mounts and to file a groove to mount the replacement barrels.
