A very mixed bag of titles from Osprey this month with something to capture the interests of everyone.
Due to the number of titles and the limitations available to include illustrations, this news item will be in two parts, each covering six new titles from Osprey. As usual, Osprey has managed to release a wealth of new titles covering a mass of different periods/themes. Prices are as indicated in the text.

Continuing with the highly interesting series "Combat Aircraft", Number 44 in the series deals with Arab Mig-19 and Mig-21 Units in Combat. Price: 19.95 (USD), 12.99 (Sterling)

The new Series "Battle Orders" reaches number 3 with the focus switching to US Armored Divisions, under the title of "US ARMORED DIVISIONS, THE EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS". Price: 19.95 (USD), 12.95 (Sterling)

The first of this month's "Elite" series (Elite 102) is titled "SANTA ANNA'S MEXICAN ARMY 1821-48" and costs 16.95 (USD), 10.99 (Sterling)

Also in the "Elite" series is number 104, "BRITAIN'S AIR DEFENCES 1939-45" which concentrates on the rarely covered areas of AA units, barrage ballon crews and the other unsung heroes of the "Home Front". Price is 16.95 (USD), 10.99 (Sterling).

The "Fortress" series reaches number 18 with the second volume with the title "NORMAN STONE CASTLES (2)" Price: 16.95 (USD), 10.99 (Sterling)

Last, but certainly not least, "THE WAFFEN-SS (2), is number 404 in Osprey's Men-at-Arms series. The second volume deals with Waffen-SS divisions 6-10. This volume deals with the unit histories, organisation, and uniforms/insignia of these formations. As there were over 30 Waffen SS divisions, this promises to be a continuing series... Price is 14.95 (USD), 8.99 (Sterling)
