Now available from Scorpion Miniature Models is its detailing set for use with the Dragon Saladin kit. Recent releases include accessories and conversions for AFV Club, as well as an antenna and base set for use with modern British Armed Forces vehicles.
Saladin Upgrade Set (CK3525). This upgrade set provides further details to the Dragon Saladin kit. Originally developed by Inside the Armour, this set is now re-released under the HKCW label, and comes with an improved driverís hatch.
CVR(T) Scorpion/Scimitar Accessory Set (CK3521). The kit provides general accessories such as a rear hull bin, fire extinguishers, a jerry can, as well as a towing pintle, to name a few. All were designed to supplement the AFV Club kits.
Bowman Antennae and Bases (SMM3520). Bowman replaced the previous Clansman series of radios in British military vehicles and other applications, starting in 2004. Bowman provides a tactical voice and data communications system for joint operations across all of the British Armed Forces in support of land and amphibious operations. It is fitted to over 15,000 military vehicles, from Land Rover to the Challenger 2. This set provides turned brass masts with real spring bases.
CVR(T) Scimitar LEP Hull Conversion (CK3517). This is a conversion set to model the LEP (Life Extension Programme) hull for Scimitar, based on the AFV Club kit. The major part of the upgrade was the replacement of the Jaguar 4.2-litre petrol engine by a more fuel-efficient Cummins BTA 5.9 diesel engine.
