The key to a succesful book on modelling is primarily accessibility. Far too many books are 'pitched' at 'expert/master' level, to be of much use to the 'average' modeller. One of the real success stories in recent years has been an initiative by Osprey Publishing of a series which has received much attention in the modelling world - The Osprey Modelling Series. The coming months will see a significant expansion of these useful books...
I make no bones about being a true 'enthusiast' of this series I own a number of the titles and have reviewed several here as well. The common thread which connects them is high-quality presentation, practicality and a superb ratio between price and quality. One of the aspects which sets them aside from other books of this type, is to present projects according to three different levels - Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. The emphasis is strongly on technique which coud be equally applied to other aspects of modelling...

I will list the new releases according to month. Please remember, that this is advance news - NONE of the titles are available yet...
